Do you know a young person who contributes to their school, organization or community? Would you like to help recognize a young person in Boston who helps others or is a positive role model for peers?

The BYZ E-Newsletter would like to acknowledge positive young people in the City of Boston by showcasing a young person in its monthly newsletter. All winners will be recognized in the newsletter and receive tickets to a local event. The deadline for submission will be the 15th of every month and nominations are valid for consideration for six months. A recognition committee made up of youth and youth workers will review applications. If you want to nominate a young person we ask you to read more about our nomination process. The number of entries received does not make the candidate more eligible for consideration. Rather, the quality and description of the deeds performed will be a deciding factor.

Objective: To honor and highlight the important contributions by young people in the city of Boston.

Eligibility: Young person in elementary, middle, high school, or in alternative program. Must be a resident of Boston.

So if you know a young person who stays a few extra minutes to help clean up, that athlete who energizes everyone in practice, or that young person who just sets the bar high…

Tell us about them.
