4th Annual Mayor's Youth Summit
Relationships: We Can Work It Out
The 4th Annual Mayor’s Youth Summit, "Relationships: We Can Work It Out," helped young
people learn how to deal with various relationships in their lives.
A video message from President Bill Clinton welcomed youth to the summit.
A talk show introduced several conflict situations, including issues with parents,
teachers and peers, which youth attempted to resolve in workshops. The theme song,
"We Can Work it Out," sung by members of the youth council reemphasized the theme.
Michelle Edwards of the WNBA Cleveland Rockers joined us as the keynote speaker.
