| Eligibility: | There will be a total of three scholarships in the amount of one thousand dollars ($1,000.00) awarded to high school seniors who are children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, grandnieces or grandnephews of RTC members. It should be noted that one of these scholarships is earmarked for a student who wishes to attend a vocational school or equivalent institution. |
| Criteria: | 1) A transcript of the student’s last two years of academic work, SAT scores, where applicable, and any evidence of extra curricular activities and/or awards. 2) Evidence of acceptance by an accredited college, junior college, vocational school or equivalent institution, 3) A one-page statement written by the student of his/her professional aspirations. 4) A notarized copy of the student’s parent(s) federal tax return for the year 2007. The first two pages summarizing the return and signed by the taxpayer are sufficient. Additional schedules and verifying information are not required. All information will be kept confidential. |
