Edwards Scholarship

Description: The Edwards Scholarship Fund is a private foundation established in 1939 by the will of the late Grace M. Edwards. It is expected that recipients repay, interest-free, any monies received from the fund, when they are able, so that the needs of future students will also be met.
Eligibility: Student must be under 25 years of age and have been a City of Boston resident at least since the beginning of junior year in high school; must attend (or be in the process of attending) an accredited institution of higher education in pursuit of an associate or higher degree. Financial need, maintain (at least ) a C or 2.0 GPA.
Criteria: Two recommendations, academic transcripts, application, parent financial statement, US department of education student aid report, copy of financial aid award letter recieved from university, and copies of ant letters recieved awarding scholarships, grants, loans or financial assistance.
Selection: Edwards Scholarship Fund
Award: $250 to $5000 granted for one year, but may be recieved up to 6 times
