| Description: | Originally, the Board awarded one $500 scholarship in the name of Ed Madden, to honor the past president who died in 1996. We have expanded the program to memorialize two other deceased leaders, Joe Langis, our former Executive Secretary, and Ron Schiffman, our former Vice President. All three men were vital to expanding the mission of the Dorchester Board of Trade during their lifetimes. This year, 2 scholarships will be awarded to 2 Dorchester residents. Interested applicants must submit a resume and a 300 - 500 word essay on a topic. |
| Eligibility: | Dorchester resident, accepted or currently attending a post-secondary institution. |
