| Description: | The Moakley Internship is awarded every year to one student for an 11-weeks internship during the summer at the State Democratic Party headquarters. The paid internship is $3500 and you will work with a member of the staff to assist the State Party to further its mission and programs. |
| Eligibility: | A Massachusetts Resident, Currently enrolled in a college or university in the United States and, 18-23 years old |
| Criteria: | Must be an entering Junior or Senior Year of college between the ages of 18 and 23 and Massachusetts resident. The student must have a GPA of B or better, demonstrate financial need, have served community service, demonstrate political involvement and have a major in political science, government, or history. |
