Edward M. Kennedy Scholarship in Science, Medicine, Public Health, and Allied Health Sciences

Description: The Medical Foundation (TMF) has established the Edward M. Kennedy Scholarship in Science, Medicine, Public Health, and Allied Health Sciences. Two $10,000 scholarships will be awarded
Eligibility: Any individual between the ages of 17 – 24 and a senior in an accredited high school located in Boston or any resident of Boston who is between the ages of 17 – 24 and will have completed their GED by June 2008. The individual must demonstrate financial need, have an interest in the field of science, medicine, public health, or allied health sciences, and plan to attend an accredited institution of higher education in the Fall of 2008.
Criteria: The criteria used to review applications will include, but not be limited to: grade point average, demonstrated community service, individual’s or family’s financial need, letters of recommendation, and personal statement.
