Description: Massachusetts Port Authority’s (Massport) CEO & Executive Director Thomas J. Kinton, Jr., present six Boston High School graduates with diversity scholarships. The scholarships are open to all seniors graduating from private or public high schools in the City of Boston. Applicants must have an interest and desire in pursuing a degree that could be used in a career in transportation industries. Areas of study may include: Aviation, Business Administration, Accounting, Architecture, Engineering, Finance and Human Resources.
Eligibility: 1) You must be a City of Boston Public High School graduating senior. 2) Interest and desire in pursuing a degree that could be utilized in the Transportation Industry. Areas of study may include; Aviation, Business Administration, Accounting, Architecture, Engineering, Finance and Human Resources. 3) You have been admitted by an accredited school or university for Fall 2008 as a full time undergraduate student in a degree granting program. 4) You must have a cumulative 3.0 GPA. 5) You must be involved in community activities and/or extracurricular activities. 6) You must show a demonstration of financial need
