| Description: | The Beacon Hill Civic Association Community Service Scholarship is given each year on the occasion of the Annual Meeting of the Board of Directors to recognize and encourage the significant contribution college and graduate level students make to the quality of life in our community. We applaud the achievements of the recipients below: |
| Eligibility: | To be eligible to receive the scholarship award, applicants must meet the following requirements: 1) They must have a significant connection to the Beacon Hill neighborhood. 2) They must be currently enrolled in a post-secondary course of study, whether graduate, undergraduate, or for a technical or vocational specialty diploma or certificate, on either a full or part time basis. 3) They must provide references adequate to confirm relevant application information, as described below. |
| Criteria: | The award of the scholarship will be at the sole discretion of the panel of judges appointed for this purpose. However, applicants should note the following information with respect to the selection process: 1) Financial need will not be considered in the evaluation process 2) Of primary importance will be the impact of community service on the applicant’s life. |
