| Description: | The purpose of the trust is to award scholarship assistance to students who are entering, or are enrolled in, college or graduate studies in the areas of human services, teaching, recreation, therapeutic recreation, and/or outdoor education/environmental sciences. Elementary and middle school students may be considered for workshop scholarships if they show an interest in one or more of the above mentioned areas of study. The scholarship is a one-time issuance and is not automatically renewable; Funds are available for tuition, books and fees but not limited those stated. |
| Eligibility: | Candidates must be attending or have been accepted to a licensed or accredited college or university; enrolled in at least one of the above fields of study; Have achieved a cumulative grade average (GPA) of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale. In order to be considered for the Scholarship the college or graduate student must be involved in one of the followinf fields of study: Required Field of Study for Consideration: Human Services, Teaching, Recreation, Therapeutic Recreation, Outdoor Education or Environmental Sciences. |
