The International House of Blues Foundation (IHOBF) is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting cultural understanding and creative expression through the arts. The IHOBF awards scholarships to students who have domonstrated interest and achievement in the arts and/or shown leadership in promoting understanding among people of diverse backgrounds.
a commitment to the Blues legacy through arts, music, community service and/or
the promotion of racial harmony.

Eligibility:
|
High school senior graduating from Cambridge, Medford or Boston public high school
|
|
Criteria:
|
Have minimum GPA of 2.5 or equivalent through 7th semester; demonstrated interest and achievement in the arts and/or shown leadership in encouraging understanding among people of diverse backgrounds; involvement in school or community activities; demonstrate need for financial assistance; accepted to a 2 or 4 year institution of higher learning
creative project using one of the suggested themes encouraged.
