Edwards Scholarship Fund

Description:

The Edwards scholarship Fund is a private foundation established in 1939 by the will of the late Grace M. Edmunds. It is expected that recipients repay, interest-free, any monies received from the fund, when they are able, so that the needs of future students will also be met.

Eligibility:

Students must be under 25 years of age and have been a City of Boston resident at least since the beginning of junior year in high school; must attend (or be in the process of attending) an accredited institution of higher education in pursuit of an associate or higher degree.

Criteria:

Financial needs, maintain (at least) a "C" or 2.0 G.P.A.

Selection:

Applicants available from local high school guidance officers in mid-October.

Award:

$250 to $5000
