Responsibilities: Each youth will conduct himself/herself in an
orderly manner during program hours. Proper attire, gray shirt and long pants,
must be worn constantly and without alteration of any kind to the uniform. All
youth must also follow the directives of his/her immediate crew supervisor,
and adhere to the following:
- Each youth must report to his/her crew supervisor.
- Sign a (statement) contract which states that you fully understand the outline
of the program, responsibilities, benefits and policies.
- Report daily to the local program base, on time and leave the base or site
only when temporarily excused or dismissed at the end of the work day by your
crew supervisor.
- Call the program base if you're intending to be late or absent.
- Sign in and sign out each day.
- Report to work in standard, designated attire, including program tee shirt,
work gloves, long pants and closed work shoes/sneakers.
- Report to work each day with the program-issued gloves. Workers are responsible
for the gloves throughout the program.
- Participate in any training sessions offered by the BYF.
- Transport program equipment to and from work sites as designated by crew supervisors.
- Sign for receipt of all checks issued as program wages.
