Girls Get Connected 2001 - Youthzone afternoon session - Learn about Web Design alongside other Teens
The first exciting session that we vistied was websign. What we saw was that they were learning how to use flash
to design a webpage. They learned how to choose different shapes and different colors to create graphics. The girls also learned how to post their pictures on the web. The leaders of the group seemed very interested in teaching the girls what they know.
The leaders were sharing their knowlegde of websign with the girls. Some of the girls may want to choose this type of work as
their future careers.
