Boston is a city on the Ocean and is surrounded by 34 islands. There is much to learn about these islands and their history. The islands are rich in natural and cultural resources such as birds, wildlife, flowering meadows, shell and slate beaches, historic structures, hiking paths, picnic and camping areas. Community Center youth plan to learn about these islands and their history by visting them and documenting their findings.
